Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand for energy assistance in 2025, The Energy Assistance Foundation will not provide funds during the 2025 cooling season (June 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025).

Established in 1982, the Energy Assistance Foundation provides energy bill payment assistance and home energy efficiency solutions to income-qualified families experiencing financial hardship. We envision Illinois neighborhoods full of light where families stay warm in the winter and keep cool in the summer.
